Our live online group tuition gives students structured tutor-led support at a lower cost than regular one-to-one tuition, without turning learning into a large anonymous class. Students join a small group working at a similar academic level and follow a focused programme in Maths, English or Science. Every class is live and interactive, so students can ask questions, practise methods, hear explanations and learn alongside other students working towards similar goals.
Select the subject and year group that matches your child. KS3 groups support Years 7, 8 and 9, while GCSE groups are designed for Years 10 and 11. Where different pathways are offered, choose the programme closest to the student's current level and target.
Each programme is offered in teaching blocks with clearly listed dates and weekly schedules. You can see which blocks are Available, Coming Soon or Sold Out. When a block is active, choose the timetable that suits your family and review remaining places before checkout.
Students join live lessons from home. Tutors explain concepts, work through examples, ask questions and guide practice. Small class sizes help lessons stay focused while giving students the benefit of learning with peers rather than studying alone.
Following a sequence of lessons allows knowledge to build week by week instead of treating each class as an isolated topic. Students become familiar with the tutor, lesson structure and other learners, which can make participation and asking questions feel more natural.
One-to-one tuition is ideal when a student needs highly individualised support, a completely personalised pace, help with specific learning gaps or a timetable built around their own availability. The tutor can devote the whole lesson to one student and adjust every activity around that student's needs.
Small group tuition follows a shared programme and timetable, but that brings advantages of its own. Students can see how other learners approach questions, hear different explanations and gain confidence contributing in a supportive group. For students who benefit from routine, regular practice and exam-focused structure, this can be an effective way to stay engaged and make progress.
The key difference for parents is value. Group tuition keeps live teaching and tutor interaction while reducing the cost per lesson. It is not a prerecorded course or self-study package: your child still attends a scheduled lesson with a tutor and other students working at a similar stage.
Our standard group pricing is simple: KS3 students in Years 7–9 pay £15 per student per lesson, while GCSE students in Years 10–11 pay £20 per student per lesson. The session card and booking page show the number of lessons and the total programme price, so you can review the full cost before checkout.

We keep groups small and focused rather than running large webinar-style classes. Available places are shown against each session and schedule, so you can see current capacity before booking. This helps the tutor maintain interaction and encourage participation throughout the lesson.
The sessions are live online tuition lessons. Students join at the scheduled time and are taught by a tutor in real time. The aim is explanation, guided practice, questions and interaction—not simply watching videos or completing worksheets independently.
One-to-one tuition is centred entirely on one student, allowing the tutor to tailor the pace and content closely. Group tuition follows a shared programme and timetable. It is less individually customised, but provides live teaching, peer learning, regular structure and a lower lesson cost.
Standard KS3 group tuition for Years 7–9 is £15 per student per lesson. Standard GCSE group tuition for Years 10–11 is £20 per student per lesson. The booking page shows the number of lessons and total programme price before payment.
A Coming Soon block is visible so you can see future teaching dates, but it cannot be booked until it becomes active. A Sold Out block has no bookable places remaining. Check another block or schedule, or use the booking support form for help.
Use the Year Group and Subject filters to narrow the programmes. Each session shows its level, programme length, price, block dates and schedules. Quick Look gives more detail. If you are unsure, send us a booking enquiry with your child's year group, subject and support needs.
Yes. The two formats serve different needs. If your child later needs more individual attention, targeted intervention or a flexible timetable, you can browse our one-to-one tutors separately.
